Services, costs and what to expect

The initial consult lasts 90 minutes and costs $185.

This involves a discussion of the issues, taking a detailed health history and workshopping a treatment plan together.  It also includes an acupuncture treatment if it is appropriate for the patient at that time.

All followup consults last 55 minutes and cost $125.

Consultations can occur both in person at the Franklin Rd clinic or online, via video call using Facetime, Zoom or Whatsapp. Obviously online appointments will not include acupuncture. When booking an online consultation through this website, please note which platform is preferable for video calling.

We also offer an online only express followup consultation that lasts 30 minutes and costs $90.

This service is designed for ongoing patients who wish to revise their treatment plan.

Payment

When you book an online appointment you will be asked to give me your credit card details. Nothing will be charged at this time. However, in order to secure an appointment you must give your payment details and agree to our cancellation policy.

Once the appointment is finished, I will ask if you prefer me to charge the credit card you have left in our online system or send you an invoice via email that you can pay through online banking.

If none of those options feel right for you, email me for an appointment and let me know how you prefer to pay.

Naturopathy

Naturopathy is an approach that believes in treating the cause of an illness and not its symptoms.

It includes:

Diet Therapy

There is no one miracle diet for everyone.  Instead, I believe in becoming more in tune with our bodies so we can feel exactly what works and what doesn't.

Invariably diet change means adding more whole, nutritious foods to your daily eating plan.

Vitamin and Mineral Therapy

During the initial case take, I assess you for the signs and symptoms of common mineral and vitamin deficiencies, which can be a significant cause of imbalance in the body.

Lifestyle Advice

This is usually the stuff you already know about!  But sometimes it helps to have someone else give you a kick up the pants, or break down what needs to be done into achievable goals.

Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is the oldest form of healing there is.  Herbs contain many ingredients, which work together to produce a beneficial effect.

Each remedy is individually blended to match the imbalances in your body, and works by gently supporting and nourishing your system so it can return to normal function.

Mayan Abdominal Therapy

Mayan Abdominal Therapy is rooted in traditional Mayan techniques that focus on restoring balance and vitality to the abdominal and pelvic regions.

It involves gentle abdominal massage, addressing concerns related to fertility, menstrual irregularities, and digestive disorders.  The therapy aims to promote optimal organ positioning, improve blood circulation, and enhance the flow of vital energy throughout the body.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture

TCM Acupuncture works on your body's flow of qi (energy) channels.

The channels link your organs with your outer body - that's how a needle in your arm can directly affect your heart or your digestion.

Acupuncture involves minimal pain or sensation when the needle is inserted, and is then an incredibly relaxing and nourishing treatment.
